I was a little hesitant about buying toshiba since I was always a samsung fan and the toshiba tv’s never seemed to match up in picture quality. I am happy to say that this tv turned that thought process around for me. Thus far I have had no issues with the TV and the picture looks amazing. When comparing with other models this one outclassed the samsung b650 to me but the b750 did seem slightly better. Though when considering the b750 was $600 more than what I payed for this set and 2″ smaller I can easily say this was the best bang for my buck tv by far.

I chose the Samsung because of its high rating in Consumer Reports.
This TV meets or exceeds all my expectations. The colors and clarity are superb.I notice that the TV does give out a bit of heat which you can feel when close to the screen. I suspect this is no more than that from most TVs of this size.

Considering this is in Samsung’s 6-series line (read: budget), the features and picture quality are top-notch. Like most people, I considered an LED backlit (not perimeter lit) higher end set. While I agree that the black level is nicer on the LED lit sets, it is not twice as good to justify the price. Same thing with 240Hz, it’s an improvement, but not a must-have. 3″ vs 1″ thick… once it’s on the wall, 7′ away from you, I doubt you’ll care much.

I did a lot of research before deciding on this Samsung. I wanted 1080p with Auto Motion Plus 120Hz, and I wanted at least a 40 inch screen. After spending about 30 or 40 hours comparing this model with comparable models, I bought this on Amazon and I have been absolutely thrilled! The picture was beautiful right out of the box, and the HD signals from my DirecTV satellite are transformed into the clearest, sharpest images I have ever seen on a television.

The Nicest TV Right Now

This TV is absolutely stunning. I was actually waiting for the C9000 to come out, but that TV’s price is way over the limit. I found out that this TV which is the next step down and actually has the exact same technology as the C9000 minus the touchscreen remote (which can be bought seperately) and the slim profile, not a big deal considering the TV already looks beautiful and is half the price or less then a C9000!

I never write product reviews. Never. This is my first one in 13 years of using the Internet.
To put it simply, this TV is amazing. Absolutely unbelievably amazing. If you think it looks good in a show room, it really is even better once you take it home. The difference between this TV and others is that it is like watching HDTV for the first time all over again.

I got this in November and it’s now February. The picture looks great – I highly recommend the 240Hz with LED backlight version. It looks even better with blue ray. The picture has fuzz when it’s not an HDMI connection, but that’s the type of wire used for the connection. They used AIG for shipping and they showed up on time and helped me carry it upstairs to my apartment.

Good quality at a good price

This is a great TV. It’s large. It’s 240Hz for smooth motion. The quality of the color is excellent when you select the THX picture setting. The menu is simple for things like channel selection, but it has the advanced picture settings when you need to do minor tweaks to the picture quality.

Okay, I will make this short and sweet – This Plasma TV is absolutely the best big-screen experience I have ever witnessed – I have used several large format/hd monitors, Mitsubishi, Proscan, Sony, etc., and this one outperforms them all.

Worth Every Penny

I’ve been researching TV‘s for the past couple of months now. I own a samsung 26 inch hd tv thats 1080i that I got two years ago and wanted to get an upgrade. After reading numerous reviews I decided to go with an Led backlit TV over a plasma since I play a lot of video games and was worried about the burn in. I like the previous reviewer read the cnet review and was a little worried about the off-angle viewing and the variable backlighting with this most recent model of tvs.
